The first screenshots and videos from the early version of Dragon Age: Dreadwolf have been leaked online. The game looks ambiguous, but it's too early to tell
No sooner had gamers discussed Controversial combat system, online elements and constant concept changes: Insider talks about the current development phase of Dragon Age: Dreadwolf provided by Tom Henderson, than a new cause for discussion has appeared in the fan community.
Here's What We Know
A Reddit user leaked a video and screenshots from an early version of Dragon Age: Dreadwolf. The material was soon removed from the forum, but it survived on other resources.
As Henderson's sources have reported, the new Dragon Age installment looks like a hack and slash game, and the author of the leak claims that BioWare is focusing on God of War (2018) when developing the game.
It is claimed that the player can only control the protagonist, who, as seen in the footage, is much more agile than characters from previous Dragon Age installments.
As for the screenshots, they show various interface elements, a number of unfinished locations and a few phrases in the subtitles that don't say anything.
In general, it's hard to make any conclusions about Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, as the materials are not of high quality, and the game is in an early stage of production. But the course towards action games seems to be at least controversial, as Dragon Age fans are hoping for a classic RPG.
When We Can Expect It
According to Henderson, Dragon Age: Dreadwolf has no chance of release in 2023.
