Microsoft and Activision Blizzard games will be available on the GeForce NOW cloud service. Phil Spencer announces ten-year contract with NVIDIA
The day of big news from Microsoft continues.
Just today, corporate president Brad Smith announced that Microsoft and Nintendo have signed a 10-year contract that implies Xbox games released on Japanese consoles. A clear focus on Call of Duty to release Xbox Games Studios games, and potentially Activision Blizzard games, on Nintendo consoles. And now another equally important agreement has come to light.
Here's What We Know
Microsoft's head of gaming, Phil Spencer, revealed in a tweet that the Redmond giant has signed a ten-year contract with NVIDIA. This includes making Microsoft games (and, once the deal is finalised, Activision Blizzard projects) available on the GeForce NOW cloud service.
This means that users will be able to play Microsoft's top-of-the-line stuff even without a powerful computer or console.
More details will follow a little later.
We have signed a 10-year agreement with NVIDIA that will allow GeForce NOW players to stream Xbox PC games as well as as Activision Blizzard PC titles, including COD, following the acquisition. We´re committed to bringing more games to more people - however they choose to play.
