Tekken 8 will feature cross-play support and a rollback feature
Despite the lack of even an estimated release date, fighting game Tekken 8 is constantly updated with new details. The developers have released a lot of videos about the characters of the next part of the series, and now the project's head Katsuhiro Harada revealed some technical details about Tekken 8.
Here's What We Know
In his Twitter, Katsuhiro Harada said that in Tekken 8 players will be able to use the cross-play option, so that users from different platforms will be able to easily hold virtual duels with each other.
The producer mentioned that the introduction of crossplay was planned back in Tekken 7, but due to a number of reasons, the developers from Bandai Namco abandoned the idea.
Crossplay? Of course I will.

BTW
When the previous generation consoles were released, I had already proposed crossplay between the two platformers. However, at that time, they were at odds with each other over their mutual interests (and P2P security issue) & repeatedly refused. https://t.co/I8b38YfePh
Tekken 8 will also feature a rolling network code, which is meant to shorten the game's responsiveness to keystrokes during online matches.
already installed it, and it already has what you want. The reason WHY we don't make big announcements like cross-play is Cuz even if we make big announcements, people like you will only say things like, "waaaa! That's normal in this day and age."
