New Microsoft contract: subscribers to the UK's largest internet service provider EE Limited will have access to Xbox Game Studios games, and eventually Activision Blizzard
Microsoft's head of gaming, Phil Spencer, has announced another long-term deal for the US corporation.
Here's What We Know
This time it is about the signing of a cooperation agreement with a major UK mobile operator and Internet service provider EE Limited.
The agreement provides for EE Limited customers access to Microsoft games, and potentially to Activision Blizzard projects over the next ten years.
Microsoft and @EE are expanding our partnership with a 10-year commitment in cloud gaming to bring PC games built by Activision Blizzard, following the acquisition, and Xbox to @EE customers. We are committed to bring more games to more people, however they choose to play.

Such contracts have previously been signed with GeForce Now, Nintendo and Ukrainian cloud service Boosteroid. Thus, Microsoft demonstrates that it does not intend to monopolise Activision Blizzard's games and aims to provide access to them to as many gamers as possible.
