Valve has released a major update to the Steam (Desktop) beta client.
Here's What We Know
The biggest changes are in the in-game overlay. Its elements have become more elaborate and easy to use.
Users will now be able to pin different windows to be displayed on top of the game. Additionally Valve changed the Steam notifications to be more concise and informative and new messages will be signaled by a green "bell".
The developers added the ability to make textual notes and pin them to the screen, while working with screenshots is easier and more convenient.
The full list of changes can be seen on the Steam page.
We're excited to announce that we've just updated the Steam Client Beta with new features and improvements to the Steam Desktop experience!
