It's Magic! The authors of the failed The Lord of the Rings: Gollum from Daedalic Entertainment are working on another game in the same universe

The developers of the most underrated game of 2023, and arguably one of the most failed games of the decade, are working on another project.

Here's What We Know

We're talking about the studio Daedalic Entertainment, which a few days ago released action-adventure game The Lord of the Rings: Gollum. Critics and gamers have received Gollum so negatively that the creators had to make a public apology for the poor quality product.

But as reported by GamesWirtschaft, Daedalic Entertainment is working on another project in the The Lord of the Rings universe.

A video game codenamed It's Magic by Daedalic Entertainment has been discovered in a database of video games funded by the German government.

The description says:

Players will find themselves in a rich world full of mythical creatures and magic. The game's story will tell a story of one of the characters that has never been told before. The player explores entirely new regions and influences events based on his role and abilities. He tries to influence the course of things and change the fate of the world. This project is aimed at avid fans of the fantasy and action-adventure genres.

According to the database, Germany has allocated €2.03 million for It's Magic.

It's Magic is due for release in August 2024.
