Developers Pieces Interactive and THQ Nordic have clarified a number of details about the new version of the horror game Alone in the Dark in a Q&A session.

- Walkthrough as both characters - private detective Edward Carnby and aristocrat Emily Hartwood - will be different both in terms of gameplay and story. The characters have different abilities and find themselves in unique situations, so players will get two completely different stories. Recall, the roles of heroes played by famous actors David Harbour - the star of "Stranger Things" series and Jodie Comer - star of "Killing Eve".
- It is not possible to switch between characters during the game.
- The developers are confident in their project and are not afraid of competition with other giants of survival horror genre, such as Resident Evil, Dead Space (2023) or The Evil Within.
- Alone in the Dark (2023) should not be seen as a remake, but as a revival of the once iconic franchise, and if it is successful, fans can look forward to the next parts of the horror.
- There are several endings in Alone in the Dark, and depending on the actions of the players, the events of the game can end in completely different ways. Some of the endings are only available by replaying the game.
When We Can Expect It
Alone in the Dark game will be released on the 25th of October on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
