Mortal Kombat 2 producer announces the start of filming
Todd Garner announced on his Twitter account that the filming of the Mortal Kombat sequel has already begun:
Off we go! I'm thrilled to start & trust me, we've listened. We've learnt from the mistakes & are committed to making the best MK2 possible. I, 100% support everyone's right to their opinion, but I have the right not to be abused & will block you. So...let's have an amazing ride!

MK2 is written by Jeremy Slater, who is known for The Umbrella Academy and Moon Knight, and directed by Simon McQuoid, who also directed the previous part.
When We Can Expect It
So far, even the approximate release date of Mortal Kombat 2 has not been announced.
