Poncle developer releases video with gameplay of co-op mod in Vampire Survivors
Vampire Survivors fans are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the game's co-op mode, which is scheduled for September 17, and the developers decided to fuel the interest by releasing a 17-minute video with the gameplay of the co-op mode on IGN:
Here's What We Know
In local co-op mode, you can use your existing saves and invite up to three friends. All characters, weapons, additional content, and updates will be available for play.
It is important to note that you cannot have duplicate characters - each player must choose a unique character. In addition, players will take turns, not simultaneously. If one of the allies dies, it will turn into a coffin that other players will have to defend until it comes back to life.
The number of available weapons will depend on the number of players, so it is important to agree on who will receive what type of weapon. The game will feature a new item, the Amulet of Friendship, which will level up random weapons for each player. And, what's great, no achievements will be blocked in local co-op mode.
As for the possibility of online co-op, Senior Marketing Manager Geo Morgan noted that it's "much harder to do at the moment", but emphasised: "Maybe we'll look at it when we have more time. Maybe we're already doing it."
