Unusual Loki marketing trick: First McDonald's, now a donut shop that's become a Marvel legend
In the small town of Inglewood, California, a real "Miss Minutes" appeared on the roof of Randy's Donuts bakery - an adorable TVA watch mascot from Loki, 7.5 metres high! No standard advertising banners could match this unique trick by the "Loki" marketing team.
Here's What We Know
This bakery became a real iconic spot after Tony Stark, played by Robert Downey Jr, stopped by here for donuts and coffee during the events of Iron Man 2, and sat there until Nick Fury kindly asked him to leave his "donut oasis".
After a successful collaboration with the McDonald's restaurant chain, offering Loki's Sweet'n Sour sauce in the lead-up to Sylvie's appearance in the chain's ranks in the 1980s, Loki's marketing has once again proven its "hunger" for publicity.
When We Can Expect It
The Season 2 of "Loki" will be released on October 6, and we already have a generous idea of what to expect from our next journey through time and space.
The first trailer for the second season of "Loki" introduced the concept of time jumps, which will allow our anti-hero to disappear regardless of time and place. The second trailer, released in early September, shows Loki and Sylvie joining forces for the first time since the end of the first season. The most attentive fans of the Marvel universe also discovered Thor's deeply hidden enemy in several scenes.
