Deadpool 3 and Stranger Things director Shawn Levy has shared his opinion on the rumours that he has been invited to work on Avengers: Secret Wars

Shawn Levy, director of Deadpool 3 and Stranger Things, is well aware that there are rumours about his possible involvement as a director for Avengers: Secret Wars. But, as of now, the director has neither confirmed nor denied this information.

Marvel Studios is collaborating with dozens of directors working on films and TV shows that are in various stages of development. However, one project that has yet to acquire a director is the blockbuster Avengers: Secret Wars.

Shawn Levy was one of the candidates who was suggested for the position, but the director is keeping intrigue regarding his possible involvement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

"I've read those rumors. And that's all I'm going to say", Levy said at the Toronto International Film Festival on Sunday.

While information about who will take over the director's chair of Avengers: Secret Wars remains a shrouded mystery, we'd like to remind you that the third instalment of Deadpool, which Shawn Levy has been working on, will be released on May 3, 2024.
