Universe Expanding: Netflix has announced The Witcher: Sirens of The Deep animated film

As part of the Geeked Week event, Netflix announced the second animated film in The Witcher franchise.
Here's What We Know
The announcement trailer and teaser for The Witcher: Sirens of The Deep is based on Andrzej Sapkowski's short story "A Little Sacrifice" from the book The Sword of Destiny.
The story is a kind of dark version of The Little Mermaid, in which the inhabitant of the underwater kingdom makes a huge sacrifice to be together with her lover.
It's worth noting that Geralt will be voiced in the film by Doug Cockle, who lent his voice to The Witcher in a trilogy of video games from CD Projekt RED.
When We Can Expect It
The Witcher: Sirens of The Deep is expected to premiere in late 2024.
