It's official: Filming on "Deadpool 3" has resumed

Marvel Studios executive producer Wendy Jacobson shared the news on her Instagram, noting that filming will begin by Thanksgiving.

Of course, the entire team was eager to get back to work, as was Marvel Studios, for whom the success of Deadpool 3 is especially important, as it will be the only MCU film in theatres in 2024.

Fans have actually created a hype around the film that hasn't been seen since Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Perhaps it's because of the involvement of Wolverine, played by Hugh Jackman, which heralds the return of other familiar characters before Avengers: Secret Wars. The intrigue is heightened by the return of Jennifer Garner as Elektra and several other characters. Audiences are hoping to see many of their favourite characters in the film.

Deadpool 3 holds an R rating. According to director Shawn Levy, Disney and Marvel Studios are in full support of their "mature" vision for the franchise. The sequel will be aimed at adult audiences only, and Ryan Reynolds' favourite character will be able to make full use of his bad guy status.

Deadpool 3 is scheduled to premiere on 26 July 2024.
