Ryan Reynolds comments on rumours of Taylor Swift's possible role in Deadpool 3: "Yeah, I've heard about it"

There are plenty of rumours surrounding the upcoming third instalment of 'Deadpool', including who else will be joining Ryan Reynolds in this non-serious anti-hero adventure.

Here's What We Know

Among the names that have been announced are Jennifer Garner as Elektra, Liev Schreiber as Sabretooth, Ben Affleck as Daredevil, Halle Berry as Storm, and finally pop star Taylor Swift as Dazzler.

Recall that in the world of Marvel Comics, Dazzler is known for her unique ability to transform sound into dazzling light and energy beams, and many Swift fans claim that this is a talent of the singer herself.

In an interview with the Vancouver Sun, Reynolds commented on the rumours floating around and expressed his delight at how much such eager fans' eagerness to find out details reflects the film's demand and bodes well for its success:

"Yeah, I’ve heard that one. I love it (the gossip). I think it is a sign of how eager people are to get a peek behind the curtain in this world. Every single one of these secrets and spoilers will be revealed on July 26.".

Director Shawn Levy also decided not to reveal his cards ahead of time, but still admitted that among all the rumours there is some truth:

"I love the proliferation of casting rumors on the internet, because I never have to say what's real and what's fantasy, so I'm just going to go with the very cliche 'no comment' on all things casting [with] Deadpool 3. I will say, we're lucky on this one. There's certainly - is this an answer? A lot of the internet rumors are completely false, but some of them aren't."

"Deadpool 3" will be released in cinemas on July 26, 2024.
