Five Nights at Freddy's becomes the most successful film ever made by Blumhouse
On 19 November, it became known that the film adaptation of Five Nights at Freddy's earned $271 million, the best result among horror films in 2023. The film has now become the most successful and highest-grossing project of Blumhouse.

Jason Blum, the founder of Blumhouse, which was responsible for the film's production, said that Five Nights at Freddy's is in first place among the most successful Blumhouse films. Before that, the lead belonged to the film Split.

The film's budget was very modest - about $20 million, and from the first day of its release, it has been available on the Peacock streaming service. And although the film received only 30% freshness from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, the audience highly appreciated it and gave it 87% freshness.
