Zelenskyy first showed French SCALP-EG missiles with a launch range of more than 250 kilometres on a Ukrainian Su-24 frontline bomber
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited one of the military bases of the Ukrainian Air Force. After that, a video appeared on his pages in social networks, where the French long-range missile SCALP-EG is demonstrated for the first time.
Here's What We Know
To begin with, let us remind you that SCALP-EG is a French version of the Franco-British Storm Shadow air-launched cruise missile. Since Ukraine does not have Western fighter jets, the carrier is the Su-24 frontline bomber.

The video shows Ukraine's president signing off on one of the missiles. It may have been the missile that struck one of the two bridges in the occupied territory a few hours later. Russian media confirmed the missile attack on the Chongar bridge in Crimea and the bridge that connects Genichesk to the Arabatskaya Strelka.
SCALP-EG is a long-range air-to-ground cruise missile. It has a launch range of more than 250 kilometres in the export version, which was probably transferred to Ukraine. France officially announced the delivery of the missiles last month.
