HIMARS destroyed a Russian Buk surface-to-air missile system hidden in the trees with a precision hit

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have destroyed a Buk surface-to-air missile launcher. The Russians hid it in trees, but it did not help.

Here's What We Know

Recently we wrote how the Ukrainian Defence Forces hit the Buk-M1-2 launcher with a kamikaze drone. The new video demonstrates the complete destruction of the system using M142 HIMARS.

But you have to realise that an FPV drone costs $500, while a single precision projectile for the M142 HIMARS missile system costs almost $200,000. But in any case, a surface-to-air missile launcher with missiles costs much more.

As usual, a drone was used for targeting. The video was published on Facebook on the page of the 80th Independent Airborne Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
