In a new trailer, the developers of Cities: Skylines 2 talked about the nuances of economics and production of the urban strategy game

Developers from Colossal Order studio continue to share details of Cities: Skylines 2 strategy game.

Economy and production are important elements of city-building games that need to be given a lot of attention.

Here's What We Know

In the new video, the game designers talked about how the economic model and production system are implemented in the game.

According to them, these elements are made much more realistic and detailed than in the last game. In Cities: Skylines 2 gamers can influence all the processes occurring in the economy of the metropolis: raise prices, regulate taxes (and don't forget to pay them), form the cost of utilities, influence the supply and demand for some goods.

The production system allows you to create your own supply chains. In Cities: Skylines 2 you can mine five types of natural resources (timber, stone, coal, ore and oil) and produce four types of agricultural products (cattle, grain, vegetables and cotton).

In the game, you have to process raw materials into finished or semi-finished products and trade them afterwards.

When We Can Expect It

Cities: Skylines II will be released on the 24th of October. The game will be available on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
