Starbreeze Studios has fixed a critical bug with player selection in Payday 3 and now gamers should have no problems connecting to the shooter's servers

The release of co-operative shooter Payday 3 turned out to be extremely unsatisfactory and disappointed the public. One of the main complaints of gamers was poor server performance, because of which they could neither connect to other players, nor go through heists alone, and those lucky enough to start co-operative playthrough lost connection in the middle of the game.

Starbreeze studio promptly solved the problems and finally announced that the bug with player selection in Payday 3 is fixed.

Here's What We Know

On Starbreeze's website, the developers have confirmed that they have fixed the problem with Payday 3's servers and now players should have no problems connecting.

Game designers indicated that the difficulty was due to additional software that, instead of making it easier to find players and connect to them, on the contrary, hindered it.

Starbreeze developers apologise to Payday 3 fans:

I would like to thank our players for their patience. Our business model is built on the logic of a marathon, not a sprint. Therefore, we will improve and develop Payday 3 for a long time to come - said Strabreeze CEO Tobias Sjögren

In addition, Starbreeze has published a release plan for upcoming updates:

  • October: fixing over 200 bugs and general improvements across all platforms;
  • October/November: continued bug fixes, bug fixes, new content and additional options;
  • November: another patch similar to the previous one;
  • Winter 2023: release of the first DLC called Syntax Error, which will be available in Silver and Gold editions.
