Death Sentence: The Outlast Trials developers talk about Halloween update and show a new map that will take players to court

Red Barrels Studio has released The Outlast Trials trailer, which shows the court, a new map created for Halloween. The developers also provided more details about the upcoming update.

Here's What We Know

The update will be released on 26 October. It will add the "Programme 4: Courthouse" challenge. The game will also feature new weekly programmes, more MC challenges, and a new limited-time Halloween event called Program Geister. At the same time, the game will feature new amps, variators, recipes, cosmetics, and a new mini-game.

It is noted that the update will also improve the process of choosing a challenge for a group, an improved gaming experience for players playing alone, and improved AI behaviour in extreme scenarios.

If you don't have the game yet but would like to purchase it, the Epic Games Store is offering a 20% discount until 1 November.

Where To Play

The game is currently available on PC (Steam EGS) in early access. Later, the game should appear on consoles, but the release date is unknown.

Flashback

The Outlast Trials offers to assemble a team of up to 4 people, where you will have to survive together in a crazy place, hide from horrible creatures, conduct your investigation and get out. The game was released on 18 May 2023 and has sold more than 1 million copies since then.
