Beautiful and very dangerous: Tekken 8 developers presented a new heroine of the fighting game - Reina

Roster of Tekken 8 fighting game characters continues to be replenished with new fighters. In early November gamers were introduced to stylish and charismatic Frenchman Victor Chevalier and it's the turn of another heroine.

Here's What We Know

Developers from Bandai Namco introduced gamers to Reina - a brand new character, who was invented for the story campaign in Tekken 7, but never brought her into the game.

The girl is good-looking, brave and dangerous.

Behind the cute appearance hides a skilful fighter, who uses agility and mobility to deliver powerful blows and dodge the enemy's attacks.

In an interview with Gematsu, Tekken 8 game director Kohei Ikeda explained that Reina's fighting style is based on the martial art of Taido. Bandai Namco has brought in a professional fighter to implement Reina's movements and fighting techniques. Judging by the trailer, he did a great job.

When We Can Expect It

Tekken 8 will be released on 24 January 2024 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
