Get ready for a cool show: the producer of The Game Awards has revealed important details about the upcoming event

Geoff Keighley, the organiser and permanent host of The Game Awards, held a live stream where he answered the main questions of the audience of the future show.

The Game Awards is one of the main gaming events, which offers the audience a rich programme with a lot of interesting announcements and spectacular trailers.

And this year gamers will get a bright show - assured Jeff Keeley.

Here's What We Know

According to the producer, at TGA 2023 the audience will see not only games from already known franchises, but also brand new projects from talented developers, many of which will be the debut.

Jeff Keeley intrigued the audience with the statement that he had seen several premiere clips and liked them very much, but this year the show will abandon the wording "World Premieres".

The organisers have decided not to display the user voting in real time, as last year there was a conflict between fans of Genshin Impact and Sonic Frontiers where bots were used to scramble votes.

User voting will begin today - 27 November.

On the eve of the ceremony - 6 December - there will be smaller screenings and interviews with developers. All streams will be available on YouTube-channel TGA.

Separately, the producer emphasised that security measures at The Game Awards 2023 will be strengthened in order to avoid eccentric viewers entering the stage. Of course, this is the right decision, but the show will also become more boring without stories about "Bill Clinton's rabbit".

Why Clinton? - It should be recalled that in December 2022 at The Game Awards show, an unknown young man came on stage with the Elden Ring team and tried to tell the multi-million audience something about Bill Clinton. Everyone thought it was about the 42nd President of the United States, but that was the name of the guy's rabbit, which only added more absurdity to the story.

The Game Awards 2023 show will begin on 8 December at 01:30 (CET)/ 7 December 4:40 p.m. PT. PT.
