Czech studio Amanita Design raised $16,000 for humanitarian aid for Ukrainians

On 13 December, the indie studio Amanita Design together with People in Need, a non-profit organisation that provides humanitarian aid, organised a campaign to support Ukrainians. During the week, if players bought any game or add-on from the Czech studio, all funds were transferred to People in Need. Now it has become known how much was collected in total.

Here's What We Know

Amanita Design managed to raise 16 thousand dollars in a week. This money will be redirected to help Ukrainians in need of food, water, warm clothes, assistance in repairing buildings and psychological support, as Ukraine is currently experiencing one of the most difficult winters in the history of its independence due to Russia's full-scale invasion.

Flashback

Amanita Design is known for creating small but very atmospheric games with a distinctive style that sets it apart from other studios. And if you have not heard the name of this studio, you must have seen its games. For example, its most famous puzzle adventure game Machinarium.

Amanita creates games in two directions: bright and funny, such as Chuchel, and atmospherically grotesque, such as Creaks or the same Machinarium.
