Halo Infinite will stop receiving new seasons from January 30
343 Industries released a free-to-play multiplayer version of Halo Infinite back in December 2021, separately from the game's main campaign mode. But, mainly due to the huge gaps between new seasons, the game quickly lost its popularity, so the developers recently announced that the game would stop receiving new seasons.
Here's What We Know
Instead, the game will focus on a schedule of core content updates called "Operations", which will begin on 30 January. These event updates will be smaller in size, but also shorter in duration, so you can expect a relatively frequent change of subject matter.
A dedicated team is reportedly still working on Halo Infinite, but 343 Industries is moving on to new projects, according to a recent community thread:
"We also have additional teams now, accelerating towards the future, working on brand new projects. We are also growing and have exciting things for the future."
Where To Play
Halo Infinite is available on Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC.
