According to SteamDB's peak online statistics, more than 333,000 people have joined the fight against alien bugs.

The game by Sony and Arrowhead Studios attracted more users than many projects that were accompanied by a larger advertising campaign and had much larger budgets. Thus, Helldivers 2 overtook Starfield, Destiny 2, The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim and the free multiplayer mode in Halo Infinite in terms of peak online.
