The future of entertainment: what's next after streaming?

I've been thinking about how home entertainment has changed over the years. We've gone from VHS to DVD to streaming, each bringing its own revolution. But here I am, endlessly scrolling through 10+ streaming services (and still can't find anything to watch!), and I can't help wondering: what's next?

Are we stuck with streaming forever? Or is there something new on the horizon that'll change how we consume entertainment again?

What do you think? Any predictions or inside knowledge to share?

My money's on VR. Not just watching a show, but being in it. Choose your character, change the story. It's gonna be wild.

VR? No way. I get dizzy after 10 minutes. Plus, who wants to wear a headset for hours?

Nah, it's all about AI-generated content. Tell the AI what you want, and boom - custom show just for you.

Great, more algorithm-driven echo chambers. Just what we need.

You guys are missing the point. People are going back to physical media. Vinyl's making a comeback, why not DVDs?

LOL, good luck with that. My kids don't even know what a DVD player looks like.

I read somewhere about direct brain interfaces. Sounds creepy, but imagine streaming straight to your brain...

What if it's not about new tech, but new content? Like, super short episodes for our shrinking attention spans?

Isn't that just TikTok?
