What’s the best projector for a basement setup?
I’m setting up a home theater in my basement and need some advice on the best projector for low-light spaces. I’ll mostly use it for movie nights, but I’d like to sneak in some gaming too.
I keep hearing a lot about 4K projectors, but honestly, if a 1080p one does the job well in a darker room, I’m all for saving some money. Any suggestions on what works best in a basement setting?

Yeah, heat can definitely be an issue with traditional bulb projectors, especially in small, enclosed spaces like basements. Laser projectors are a great alternative - they generally run cooler and last longer without needing a bulb replacement. Plus, they’re more efficient in low-light environments, so you’ll get great brightness without the extra heat. If you’re using the projector for extended periods, a laser model could be the way to go, especially for a basement setup.
