The latest MIUI 12.5 update broke the camera in Redmi Note 10 Pro
Xiaomi has released yet another problematic MIUI 12.5 firmware update. This time for the Redmi Note 10 Pro smartphone.
What we know
Users began to massively report that after a software update in the smartphone, the front camera stopped working. Video calling apps and instant messengers immediately close when trying to activate the camera.
So This is Really happening in masses, My Brother's Redmi Note 10 Pro Pro's selfie camera is not even opening, and all apps using front camera are crashing.

So far, only owners of Redmi Note 10 Pro from India have reported the problem. Apparently, it appeared in firmware v12.5.9.0, but became widespread in v12.5.10.0 (Enhanced Edition). One of the users fixed the problem by replacing the motherboard.
Note that the global version of Redmi Note 10 Pro also runs on firmware v12.5.9.0, but users have not reported any crashes yet. Actual for the European version of the smartphone is assembly v12.5.7.0.
