Zelenskyy officially confirmed that a Ukrainian-made long-range weapon successfully hit a target at a distance of 700 kilometres

The Ukrainian Defence Forces have weapons that have a launch range of 700 km. This was announced today by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Here's What We Know

Such a statement was made by the President following the results of the daily selector. The Ministry of strategic industries reported to him on the successful use of long-range weapons of Ukrainian production.

The new development was able to hit a target at a distance of 700 kilometres. At the same time, the president and the ministry have not yet disclosed the details. It is possible that the new weapon is a drone that attacked the airport in the Pskov region the previous day, where four Il-76 aircraft were destroyed. The distance from Pskov to the Ukrainian border is about 700 kilometres.

Another Ukrainian long-range weapon is the Neptun anti-ship cruise missile. However, even after modification, it has a maximum range of 400 kilometres. The upgrade allowed it to destroy ground targets. This is how the launcher of the S-400 surface-to-air missile system in Crimea was eliminated.
