Israel officially announced the first-ever interception of a missile using the Arrow-3 extra-atmospheric missile defence system
The Arrow-3 extra-atmospheric missile defence system has intercepted a target for the first time. This was officially announced by the Israeli Ministry of Defence.
Here's What We Know
A few weeks ago there was information about the first combat use of the Arrow missile defence system. As it turned out, it was about the old version, which is called Arrow-2. This week Israel used the Arrow-3 complex for the first time.

On 9 November 2023, the Arrow-3 interceptor was successfully launched for combat use over the Red Sea. Thus, the missile defence system hit a target for the first time since its deployment in 2017.
