EDGE Group will sell $165 million worth of MANSUP-ER extended-range anti-ship missiles to Brazil

The Dubai Air Show 2023 was held in the UAE this week, where state-owned conglomerate EDGE Group unveiled the MANSUP-ER missile. The first customer was Brazil.

Here's What We Know

MANSUP-ER is an anti-ship missile co-developed with Brazilian company SIATT. It can hit naval targets within a radius of 200 kilometres. It was developed in the interests of the Brazilian and UAE navies.

The contract with the Brazilian Navy is the first deal under the cooperation agreement between the military service and the Emirati defence conglomerate, which includes 25 companies. Valued at $165 million, the contract also includes the supply of shorter-range projectiles.

The MANSUP series missiles are undergoing intensive testing by the Brazilian Navy. They will eventually be adapted for integration on ground and air platforms.
