ABL was unable to make its first-ever RS1 rocket launch
ABL made two attempts last week to make its first-ever orbital launch of the RS1 rocket. Both were unsuccessful, but the company is not discouraged.
Here's What We Know
The first attempt was scheduled for Nov. 14, but the launch was postponed for several days due to technical problems and then weather. On November 18 at 18:55 (EDT) or 15:55 (PDT), the second attempt also failed. The company interrupted the countdown and proceeded to drain the fuel.
The team has polled go for propellant load. T0 has been delayed by 55 minutes, currently 1:55pm AKST (10:55pm UTC). pic.twitter.com/0ZzopvxZ57

ABL has stated that RS1 is okay. A third rocket launch attempt will take place in a few hours. The three-hour launch window will open on November 22 at 18:00 (EDT) or 15:00 (PDT).
Although ABL has not yet launched, the company wants to orbit two satellites, Viasat-1A and Viasat-1B, with a 27-meter rocket on the first attempt. The cost of the launch is $12 million. The rocket can carry a 1.35-ton payload into low-Earth orbit.
