SpaceX has already set a new record for the most orbital launches in a year - the company has completed 62 missions and sent 80 per cent of the cargo from Earth into space
On the morning of September 4, 2023, US aerospace company SpaceX set a new record for the number of orbital launches in a year. As you realised, it took just over eight months to complete.

Throughout the entire year of 2022, SpaceX conducted 61 successful space launches. In the eight months and four days of 2023, the company of Elon Musk managed to perform 62 missions. By the way, technically, between the first and 62nd launch was exactly eight months.

On September 4, 2023, a Falcon 9 rocket launched from a spaceport in Florida and put 21 Starlink satellites into orbit. The constellation of spacecraft recently surpassed 5,000 and will increase several times more in the future.
As usual, the first stage returned to Earth after 8.5 minutes. She made a soft landing in the Atlantic Ocean on the Just Read the Instruction platform. It was her 10th anniversary flight.

SpaceX has delivered ~80% of all Earth payload mass to orbit in 2023. China is ~10% & rest of world other ~10%.
SpaceX is the unequivocal market leader. In comparison, since the beginning of 2023, China and Russia have performed 39 and 12 successful launches respectively. In addition, SpaceX has put into orbit 80% of the mass of all payloads from Earth. China's share was 10% and the rest of the world accounted for the remaining 10%.
