Russian company ZALA has unveiled the Italmas kamikaze drone with a range of 200 kilometres, which is an improved version of the Lancet UAV

The Russians have presented a new kamikaze drone. The manufacturer is the ZALA company, which lets in Lancet drones and a number of reconnaissance UAVs.

Here's What We Know

The new drone is called the Italmas. The Russians claim it is an improved version of the Lancet kamikaze drone. At the same time, it looks more like Iran's Shahed-136 or 421-04M kamikaze UAV of the same ZALA company.

The technical characteristics of the new drone are not specified. It is known only about the use of an internal combustion engine and a range of 200 kilometres. For comparison, the most advanced sub-modification of the Lancet-3 can fly 100 kilometres.

Russian propagandists talk about the use of an optoelectronic station for real-time guidance. Published materials do not confirm this information.
