Ming Chi Kuo: Apple delayed AR/VR helmet shipments until the second half of 2023
We have already written more than once that Apple plans to introduce its proprietary mixed reality helmet in the spring of 2023. It seems that it is not worth waiting for the novelty in the near future.
Here's What We Know
According to Chinese analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple has encountered a software problem with the helmet. Because of this, shipments of the device will likely be pushed back to the second half of 2023.

It's already a market consensus the AR/VR headset device will be the next critical growth driver for the optical industry. The market previously expected Apple's MR headset, which will start mass shipments in 2Q23, would be a spotlight in the low season of the optical industry.
Flashback
Apple's mixed reality helmet will run on the xrOS (eXtended Reality) operating system. The new product will support virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR). If we believe the rumors, then the gadget will get a Sony Micro-OLED screen, a lot of sensors, as well as support for proprietary services Apple TV + and Apple Arcade. The device will cost 2000-3000 USD.
