Serhiy Prytula's fund raised $6.4 million and will be able to buy 60 Spartan armored vehicles instead of the planned 50 units
It took Serhiy Prytula's Charitable Foundation less than two days to raise the money to buy a batch of British Spartan armored vehicles.
Here's What We Know
The fundraiser started on November 2 at 10:00 a.m. (EET). The goal is to raise ₴200 million ($5.42 million) to buy 50 tracked armored vehicles. By 13:00 (EDT) or 10:00 (PDT) that same day, the charity was able to raise exactly half of the needed amount.
In yesterday's post, we wrote, not unreasonably, that ₴200 million would be raised well before the deadline (November 8). As a result, in just over a day Ukrainians transferred the required amount to the Foundation's accounts, and by 13:00 (EDT) or 10:00 (PDT) on November 3, the charity raised ₴236 million ($6.4 million).
We've already raised ₴236 million ($6.4 million) for 60 Spartan APCs ???? 236 million hryvnia three times more than in one day! Do you understand?

We can deliver all 60 APCs to Ukraine and give them to our troops!
Thanks to all the Ukrainians, Ukrainian businessmen and all those who got to ????????.

₴36 million (~$1 million) will be spent on additional batch of armored vehicles. As a result, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive not 50, but 60 British Spartan armored vehicles at once.
