Ukrainian Armed Forces show American BGM-71 TOW anti-tank systems at the front for the first time
A month and a half after the video of the Humvee armored vehicle with BGM-71 TOW at the exercises was published, the first video appeared, which shows how the Ukrainian Armed Forces use the vehicle with an anti-tank missile system at the front.
Here's What We Know
The United States handed over its anti-tank missile system to Ukraine a few months ago. The BGM-71 TOW, along with MRAP vehicles, Javelin missiles and additional ammunition for the M142 HIMARS, were part of a $775 million military aid package announced in August.
#Ukraine: After a long wait and bunch of videos from training ranges abroad now we finally can confirm that legendary American BGM-71 TOW ATGMs have reached Ukraine!

The anti-tank system weighs about 70 kg, and a single missile weighs about 20 kg. Because of this, the BGM-71 TOW is mounted on vehicles. The M1117 is a modification of the Humvee armored vehicle designed for just such purposes.
