The Ukrainian Armed Forces for the first time showed the German Leopard 2A4 tank with Barracuda MCS camouflage system
The Ukrainian Defence Forces have been using German Leopard 2 tanks on the frontline for several weeks now. Recently, a member of the Armed Forces showed for the first time a Leopard 2A4 fighting vehicle with Barracuda MCS (Mobile Camouflage System) camouflage.
Here's What We Know
The video from TikTok is just over 1 minute long and shows a Leopard 2A4 tank in motion. In addition to the Barracuda MCS camouflage system, the combat vehicle has the Contact-1 dynamic defence system.

It's worth noting that a German tank with dynamic defences is no longer a joke. We saw the first video of a Leopard 2A4 reinforced with Contact-1 armour two and a half weeks ago.
Barracuda MCS is a development of the Swedish company Saab. The camouflage system is designed to reduce the visibility of tanks and other armoured vehicles in the optical and infrared ranges. The system not only reduces the heat trail, but also protects against external heat.
