Poland leases American reconnaissance strike UAV MQ-9A Reaper, it will be used until they buy their own complex
The Polish Army has received the Reaper MQ-9A.

The country's Defense Minister Mariusz Błaszczak announced it on Twitter. We are talking about the lease of the UAV. This is a temporary measure until the Poles will buy their complex. The defense minister did not disclose the cost of the lease of the drone.

Flashback
The MQ-9 Reaper is a modular reconnaissance strike drone. It is manufactured by General Atomics Aeronautical Systems. It is in service with the U.S. and British armies. The first flight of the UAV made in 2001. The drone has a turboprop engine, which allows speeds of over 400 km/h. MQ-9 Reaper is capable of flying at an altitude of up to 13 km.
