As a result, the Patriot surface-to-air missile systems will remain on NATO territory. The air defense systems will be deployed in Poland on the border with Ukraine. Warsaw and Berlin are beginning preparations for the deployment of the launchers in the country.
Talks about providing Ukraine with Patriot systems appeared after the S-300 air defense missile fell on Polish territory. Germany expressed a desire to deploy Patriot on the border with Ukraine, but Warsaw offered to give the air defense systems at once to Kyiv.
