Turkey receives first new generation Firtina self-propelled howitzers with automatic charging system and new fire control system

The Turkish Armed Forces received the first batch of new generation Firtina self-propelled artillery units.
Here's What We Know
We are talking about 6 units. The Turkish army received them during a ceremony in the northwestern province of Sakarya. President Recep Erdogan attended the event.
The new generation Firtina boasts a Turkish-made tracked chassis. In addition, it has a Turkish fire control and communications system, advanced control and aiming devices, and a fully automated shell charging system.
Turkey plans to receive a total of 140 such howitzers.
