NATO will send AWACS spy planes to Romania to monitor Russian military activity

In the near future, AWACS reconnaissance planes will depart from Germany to Romania. They will arrive in Bucharest to track Russian planes.
Here's What We Know
NATO has decided to move long-range radar detection and targeting aircraft from Germany to Romania to base them closer to Russia. The aircraft are scheduled to arrive on January 17.
NATO's long-range radar detection and targeting aircraft have been patrolling Eastern Europe and the Baltic Sea since early February 2022. They will also monitor Russian military activity in Romania.
How many aircrafts exactly the North Atlantic Alliance intends to transfer from Germany to Bucharest is not known at the moment. NATO has a total of 14 long-range radar surveillance and targeting aircraft.
