The Ukrainian Defence Forces have received Eagle armoured vehicles. As it turned out, the deliveries were not approved by the Swiss government.

Here's What We Know

The relevant information was revealed in the results of an investigation conducted by the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs. The armoured vehicle was transferred to Ukraine by a German company whose name is not specified.

Photos of Eagle were published on social media earlier this year. Exactly when the Swiss-made vehicles arrived in the country is not specified at the moment.

At the end of the last century Switzerland sold 36 armoured vehicles to Denmark. 10 years ago an unnamed private German company bought 27 Eagles from the Scandinavian country. Switzerland approved the shipments, but banned re-export without its consent.

The State Secretariat for Economic Affairs found during the investigation that 11 armoured vehicles had been shipped to Ukraine. However, Switzerland has no claims against the German government.
