Rheinmetall and the Netherlands to give Ukraine 14 Leopard 2A4 tanks worth over $100m

Earlier this year it was reported that the Netherlands and Denmark were ready to finance the delivery of Leopard 2A4 tanks to Ukraine. According to the Tagesschau newspaper, the agreement was reached with the German federal government.

Here's What We Know

Rheinmetall has announced that the cost of the order is a small three-digit sum in millions of euros. The Leopard 2A4 main battle tanks will be delivered to the Ukrainian Armed Forces on behalf of the Dutch government.

All combat vehicles will be delivered over the next year starting in January. It is also noted that these Leopard 2A4s will be purchased from third countries and repaired before being shipped to Ukraine.
