Minecraft Legends content support will end later this month
Less than a year after the release of Minecraft Legends, it has already become known that the game will not receive content updates - the last updates will be released later this month.
Here's What We Know
Lost Legends challenges will remain available and players will be able to get the Bright-Eyed Hero skin. The developers will also continue to provide technical support for the already available features, such as PvP and co-operative play.
The game also has one last event planned, Snow vs Snouts, which takes place during the snow season, when players use the powerful Redstone Launcher to destroy Pygmy bases. The trade-off is the lack of ability to control mobs or build structures.
Cristina Anderca, Senior Creative Manager at Mojang Studios, had this to say about the future:
"With the support of our team, our partners, and the Minecraft community, we’re going to continue exploring the types of games we’re passionate about and bringing new experiences to the Minecraft universe. Together, we united the Overworld, made some adorably scary friends, and, most importantly, showed those piglins that they messed with the wrong dimension again and again. Keep your banners raised because the Overworld will always need a hero!"
Where To Play
Minecraft Legends is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
