MWC 2015: 7-дюймовый металлический планшет Huawei MediaPad X2
Huawei представила на выставке MWC 2015 7-дюймовый планшет Huawei MediaPad X2 с металлическим корпусом и двумя слотами для SIM-карт. Дизайн практически не изменился в сравнении с предыдущим Huawei MediaPad X1, основные изменения коснулись внутренностей. В планшете установлен такой же, как и в X1 7-дюймовый IPS-дисплей с разрешением 1920х1200 (плотность пикселей 323 ppi), который занимает 80% площади лицевой панели.
В качестве процессора теперь установлен новый 64-битный HiSilicon Kirin 930 с 8 ядрами ARM Cortex-A53, работающми на частоте 2 ГГц и графическим ускорителем Mali-T628. Как и смартфон Mate7, MediaPad X2 будет выпускаться в двух вариантах: серебристый с 2 ГБ оперативной памяти и 16 ГБ встроенной и золотистый с 3 ГБ ОЗУ и 32 ГБ встроенной.
Оба варианта будут иметь по два слота для SIM-карт и будут поддерживать работу в сетях LTE Cat.6. Планшет оснащен основной камерой на 13 мегапикселей и фронтальной 5-мегапиксельной фронтальной с диафрагмой f/2,4 и широкоугольным 22-мм объективом. Емкость встроенного Li-Pol аккумулятора составляет 5000 мАч, обещают до 12 часов просмотра видео. Толщина планшета составляет 7.28 мм, ОС Android 5.0 Lollipop с оболочкой Emotion UI.

The Signature Large Screen
Featuring a fully laminated 7-inch ultra 1200 x 1920 HD IPS screen providing a resolution up to 323ppi, the Huawei MediaPad X2 offers clarity for enhanced viewing experience. A wide angle spanning up to 178 degrees ensures optimal visual display even when the device is tilted. The LTPS HD touch display provides incredibly crisp and dynamic visual experience while CABC technology will automatically adjust screen brightness to ensure efficient battery management.

Sporting a 2.0GHz Kirin 930 ultra-octa chipset, the 64 bit eight-core CPU of A53 in the Huawei MediaPadX2 has a high processing function yet consumes less power. The Kirin 930 chipset supports LTE Cat6 connectivity with a download speed of up to 300Mbps. The 64-bit GPU Mali-T628 and i3 micro-core provide the Huawei MediaPad X2 with an unprecedentedly strong entertainment experience for users, allowing them to play large-scale 3D games. The Huawei MediaPad X2 will come in a standard 2G RAM+ 16GROM version in a moonlight silver body and a premium version with a 3G RAM and 32GROM storage option in an amber gold body. Exact availability and pricing information will be announced at a later stage in each respective markets.
