Adapt is the spiritual successor of Spore
Many people really liked the game Spore, but, unfortunately, the sequel was never born. A possible replacement for Spore 2 could be a new Adapt evolution simulator from Slug Disko and lone developer Paul Hervé.
At its core, Adapt is a survivor, not a simple survivor. Well, the way to the very top of the food chain you will receive evolution points, which can then be spent on new parts of the body. This will allow you to create hundreds, if not thousands, of variations of creatures with unique looks and characteristics - all as in the original Spore.
To survive in the ancient cruel world will need to think about the offspring, and as a consequence, the survival of all its species. To do this, you need to look for food, adapt to changes in weather, look for sheltered housing and fight for territory.
Among the features of Adapt are:
- Plants, depending on the season, produce seeds and fruits that can be used for food and serve as a home for insects.
- Sophisticated artificial intelligence, including hunting, finding mates and hiding from predators
- Opportunity to settle anywhere - be it a mountain peak or the seabed
- Numerous reproductive strategies
- Dynamic change of day and night
Adapt will soon be available in early Steam access, where it will spend up to two years. You can already download the demo version.
