IGN showed 23 minutes of gameplay Tiny Tina's Wonderlands: all in the best traditions of Borderlands
Less than two months before the release of Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, scheduled for March 25, IGN released 23 minutes of gameplay. The video shows the fast-paced action expected from the Borderlands 3 spin-off.
Tiny Tina's Wonderlands adds magic and dual-wielding to the Borderlands universe, allowing players to combine spells with a massive arsenal of weapons. Players can choose from six classes: Stabbomancer, Brr-Zerker, Spellshot, Clawbringer, Graveborn, and Spore Warden. With a customizable class system, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands will allow players to mix and match abilities from all six unique character skill trees. At the start of a new game, players choose a starting class. As they progress through the game, they will unlock the multiclass system, which will open up a slot for secondary classes.
In an interview with IGN, senior writer Sam Winkler explained that the creative team focused on giving players a sense of being part of the adventure. As players advance, the tavern will change - kill the monster and its head will appear on the wall. Aspects of the hub will also be customizable. "By the end of Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, the tavern will be completely different from the start," Winkler said.
Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is scheduled to release on March 25, 2022 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Gearbox published online guide on the game to give fans a better idea of what to expect in the weeks leading up to release.
