MacRumors, citing South Korean blogger yeux1122, reports that the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models will be the first smartphones in Apple history with 8 GB of RAM.

This information was obtained from the Apple supply chain. The network informant emphasizes that the RAM modules for the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max smartphones have already been confirmed. Mass production will start soon.

Recall that the last time Apple increased the amount of RAM on the Pro and Pro Max models in 2020 was up to 6 GB. Now only four smartphones have this amount of RAM: iPhone 13 Pro / Pro Max and iPhone 12 Pro / Pro Max.
