Are there any best soundbars under $1000 that support dolby atmos?

Hey everyone! So, I'm on the hunt for a new soundbar, and I'm hoping to keep it under $1000. My living room is medium-sized, around 15x20 feet, and I've got a standard 4K TV setup. Nothing too fancy, but definitely looking to up my audio game. I'm really keen on getting something that supports Dolby Atmos because I've heard it's like having a mini-theater at home. The sound needs to match those epic explosions and emotional dialogues, you know?

Ease of setup is a big deal for me too. The fewer wires, the better - I'm not exactly a tech wizard, and I've already lost enough hair trying to figure out HDMI cables. If you've got any soundbar suggestions that deliver great sound quality, are easy to set up, and offer good value for money, I'd love to hear them.

Yo, Atmos addicts!)) Lemme tell ya, ever since I hooked up this Dolby Atmos system, my living room's been like a freakin' movie theater on steroids! Netflix? More like Netflicks-your-mind! That scene in Stranger Things where the Demogorgon's crawling on the ceiling? Swear I almost peed myself when I heard it scuttling right above my head!
And don't even get me started on Disney+. The Mandalorian's blaster shots zipping past my ears? Chef's kiss!_)) I think my neighbor thought I was under attack! Amazon Prime's been killing it too. Jack Ryan? More like Jack-Ryan-is-in-my-living-room! xDDD)

But real talk, not everything's in Atmos. Sometimes I'm watching a show and I'm like, "Where's my immersive audio at?" Then I realize it's just a regular old 5.1 track. Talk about First World problems, right? (^-^)
Still, when you do get that sweet Atmos content, oh boy! It's like your ears are having a party and everyone's invited. Even my cat gets freaked out sometimes – I caught her looking for birds in the ceiling once! :D

I've been using the Sonos Arc for a few months now, and the sound quality is honestly amazing! The Dolby Atmos feature really kicks in, especially with movies that have a ton of sound effects. The dialogue is super clear too, which is a huge plus and the surround sound? It's surprisingly good for a soundbar)

I had a different experience with the Sonos((( While the sound quality is good, I found that the Dolby Atmos feature was a bit underwhelming compared to other systems I've tried, like Samsung or JBL.

Hey guys, I gotta throw my hat in the ring for the Polk Audio Signa S4. Picked it up last month for around $300 on sale (usually closer to $400) and I'm honestly blown away.

For Atmos, it's got these up-firing speakers that do a pretty solid job. Not gonna lie, it's not gonna compete with a full ceiling-mounted setup, but for the price? It's killer.

The bass surprised me too - that wireless sub packs a punch. Was watching Dune the other day and you could feel those sandworms, I swear.

One thing I really dig is how it plays nice with my LG TV. The HDMI-eARC connection is smooth, and the soundbar turns on and off with the TV. Volume control through the TV remote is a nice touch too.

Oh, and if you're into tweaking, there's a "Voice Adjust" feature that's pretty nifty for boosting dialogue. Comes in handy for those mumbly Netflix shows, you know?

Not saying it's perfect - the app is kinda meh, and I wish it had Wi-Fi for easier updates. But for under $500? It's a steal if you ask me. Just my two cents! Verdict: Polk Audio Signa S4 best sounbar unrer 1000$!

Atmos is cool and all, but have you guys considered how much it actually adds to the experience?.. I mean, for most content, a good 5.1 setup might be just as immersive.

Fair point, but atmos is becoming more common in streaming content. netflix and disney+ have a bunch of atmos-enabled shows and movies now.

I recently got the Sonos Arc, and it's been fantastic! It's a bit on the higher end of the budget, but the sound quality is incredible, and it definitely supports Dolby Atmos. Totally worth checking out.$$

I’ve been debating between the Sonos Arc and the Samsung HW-Q800A. Does anyone know how these compare in terms of setup and user interface?

I'd say Sonos wins on user interface and ecosystem integration, especially if you plan on expanding to a multi-room setup later. But the Samsung offers a bit more flexibility with its connections and features like Q-Symphony if you have a Samsung TV.

Yeah, check out the Sony HTX850. It's usually around $400 and has virtual Dolby Atmos. Not as good as "real" Atmos, but still pretty impressive for the price.

I think we're overlooking dialogue clarity here. Some of these Atmos soundbars sound great for explosions and music, but struggle with clear speech. Any recommendations that excel in that department?

Dolby Atmos? XDD) More like Dolby overhyped. Just get a cheap stereo system and save your money.

Does anyone know if any of these support DTS:X as well as Atmos? or is that asking too much at this price point?

Good point about dialogue. The Sonos Arc is just over $1000 (some models), but it's known for excellent voice clarity along with Atmos support. Might be worth stretching the budget a bit.

LOL why bother with Atmos? Just crank up the volume on your TV and annoy your neighbors like a real chad.

How much does the room size affect the performance of these soundbars with Dolby Atmos?./ I have a relatively small living room, and I'm wondering if it's worth investing in.
